Bizarre scene in the Swiss Football League on Sunday the 10th of march. The game at the Thun stadium in the canton of Bern was halted after a few minutes when the fast-moving, weasel-like animal scooted back and forth across the pitch.

He desappears behind the fences and gets back a few minutes later once again. Zurich's football player Loris Benito catches him like a goalkeeper and gets biten. Finally it's goalkeeper Da Costa (with gloves) who's able to get the marten off the pitch. The animal was later brought to a field and released alive.
